I’m all for finding an easier way to do things – you know, work smarter not harder. That applies most especially to housework and thankless chores like doing the laundry.

The truth is, I never was a “Susie Homemaker.” Not when I was raising my two children, and not now that I am in my 50s and an emptynester. I’ve always kept a clean house – more out of a sense of “should” and “need” rather than because it was hardwired into my DNA.

Yes, my family and friends will disagree and tell you I’m a neatnik; someone who has to have everything in it’s place, but if I am totally honest, much of that attention to detail in my younger years had to do with pressure I put on myself to be perfect – to be the perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect homemaker, the perfect career women. That’s a whole lot of perfect!

Age brings wisdom, or maybe we just tire more easily (heh heh), so when I find something that I can do with minimal time and effort, I say bring it on!

Which leads me to the reason I’m in love with Tide Pods.

For the past eight months I’ve been seeing a man who lives a little over two hours away. Because of the distance, and the fact that we want to spend as much time as we can together, I’ve been pretty much living out of my Samsonite.

Now just because I’m living out of a suitcase doesn’t mean I don’t want to look my best. And having clean clothes is a big part of looking and feeling like “me.”

But I don’t want to spend a lot of what time we have together doing laundry, so top of my list was to find an innovative product that redefines how I do the wash.

Great innovation means more than just creating something new, or something complicated. It can mean simplicity that actually helps improve lives. And the revolutionary laundry pacs developed by Proctor & Gamble’s Tide brand have reinvented the laundry process to provide excellent cleaning and freshness with minimal time and work.

I can trust the cleaning power of Tide Pods to deliver that “best” in one product that cleans, brightens and fights stains with no more effort than it takes to toss one of these pacs into the washing machine.

Not to mention I can throw a few Tide Pods into my suitcase and be ready to wash my clothes no matter where I end up without having to drag along big ol’ bulky bottles of detergent, fabric softener, etc., etc. How’s that for easy-peasy?

Each Tide Pods is pre-measured so it’s simple to use and consistently delivers trusted Tide cleaning performance.

Tide Pods is a breakthrough single-use liquid with innovation in three key areas:

  • This new formula was created to be HE compatible and twice as compacted as current 2x Tide Liquid. A little goes a long way.
  • The three-chamber design lets the unique chemistry work together in the wash for excellent results.
  • To ensure the best laundry experience for consumers, Tide Pods uses a new film that dissolves completely in the wash, even in cold water.

Having pre-measured detergent that cleans, brightens and fights stains in each load has changed how I do laundry, whether at home or on the go. And it’s even got my significant other reaching for Tide Pods to carry in his suitcase.

This looks like the beginning of a beautiful relationship (and things are working out pretty well with my guy, too).
